Virginia Tech Spring Practice Recap: The Defense, Part 2

I’ll gladly admit that I have no idea what’s going to happen in the Virginia Tech secondary. There are a number of candidates to start, and many players have been working at multiple positions during the course of the spring.

With Kendall Fuller and Brandon Facyson out for the spring, we never got to see the entire starting secondary on the field at once, and we still aren’t even sure where everybody will play. Still, I think we know who is going to start at two of the positions…

Boundary corner: Kendall Fuller (6-0, 197, Jr.). I’m sure Fuller could have played this spring, but there is no reason to risk him. He’ll be back this summer, and when he returns he’ll assume his boundary corner duties.

Rover: CJ Reavis (6-1, 205, So.). Reavis was in a battle early in spring practice, but by the end he appeared to have stepped up his game and won the spot.
