Whitehead Makes Another Trip To Blacksburg

Since verbally committing to Virginia Tech on May 3 of this year, class of 2015 defensive tackle Eric Whitehead has visited Blacksburg three times. His most recent experience came this past weekend, when he traveled to Virginia Tech alongside former high school teammate and Hokies class of 2015 cornerback target Adonis Williamson.

Whitehead and Williamson arrived in Blacksburg Friday night and stayed through Monday. Both recruits had an opportunity to explore the freshman dorms, have meetings with coaches, and watch the team workout.

“Every time I go I’m never disappointed,” Whitehead said of his latest experience at Tech. “It shows why I picked to go here. Every time I go there I meet an underclassman I hadn’t met before. They tell me what it’s like.”
