On May 5, Good Counsel (Olney, MD) rising senior Darius Fullwood revealed a top five of, in no order, Virginia Tech, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Ohio State and Miami. At the time he also listed Penn State, Wake Forest, West Virginia and Boston College as other schools in “high consideration.”

TSL caught up with the 6’4”, 240-pound defensive end prospect this week to discuss his list of favorites, what’s next in his recruitment, when he plans to commit, and more.

Fullwood’s top five remains the same; however, in terms of those schools also under consideration, there are now only two.

“These schools are pretty much my finalists,” Fullwood said. “My top five is still (in no order) Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Miami, Kentucky and Ohio State. I’m still being heavily recruited by BC and Michigan State. Those are two places I haven’t visited before.”
