It’s amazing how a 24-of-35 outing from the quarterbacks will brighten your day.
Now that it’s a week in the past, I’ll fess up: last Saturday’s scrimmage left me in a foul mood. Another snoozer of an outing by the offense, with about three memorable plays out of 48 run from scrimmage. Subpar play from the QBs, almost no carries for Marshawn Williams (three) or catches for Bucky Hodges (one), and Adam Taraschke bouncing snap after snap to Andrew Ford left me thinking, “Why do I come to these things?”
