Recruiting is in its stretch run and schools are looking to close out strong in class of 2014 recruiting. Signing Day is less than two months away. Though Virginia Tech has had most of its class filled for a while, there are still some top targets left on the board. Before we take a look those recruits, lets take a look at where recruiting is right now for those high school seniors.

Recruiting Calendar

– We are in a Contact Period that lasts through December 15.
– A long Dead Period begins on December 16 and lasts through January 15.
– The Contact Period resumes January 16 and lasts through February 1. There is a “Quiet Period” on February 2 before another Dead Period from February 3-6
– National Signing Day is Wednesday, February 5.
