Following up on yesterday’s article, here are my defensive award winners for the 2013 season.
Defensive Player of the Year
From start to finish, Jack Tyler (6-1, 230, r-Sr.) was Virginia Tech’s best defender this season. There were some other guys who had flashier games at times, or who played well in the first half of the season, but when you throw all 12 games together as a whole, Tyler was Tech’s best defensive player.
