He’s right. Hopkins & Maddy were very very good as true-freshmen.
I remember Skip played as a Freshman with his brother Hop who started as a sophomore. Skip was just more advance and he wanted to beat out his brother. While Maddy launched on the scene as a Freshman and everyone was going “Where the hell did he come from?” So yes James I guess you are right you can excel even as a true Freshman.
