I’ve avoided discussing basketball in articles recently.  As depressing as they would be for you to read, they are even more depressing to actually write.  That said, we’ve avoided the topic for too long, and today we’ll cover several different subjects.

Getting Green his Points

Recently there has come a time in each game where I’ve found myself thinking: “Okay, this one’s over.  The rest of this game, and probably the season, is all about getting Erick Green his points.”

Sadly, that’s what it’s come to.  I want Erick Green to score as many points as possible.  I’d love to see the Hokies win in the process, but speaking realistically, that’s just not going to happen.  In fact, it might not happen for the rest of the season.  If the Hokies are going to have a terrible year, at least we can have something to hang our hats on.  That something is Erick Green .
