Dewayne Alford , 6-3, 229, DE: Alford was a 2011 signee who grayshirted and went through spring practice in 2012.  Though he has a spring and summer under his belt, he is still projected to redshirt and help out on the scout team this season.

Joel Caleb , 6-3, 205, FL: Caleb will have a month to play 7-on-7 football with the quarterbacks, wide receivers and defensive backs.  Then practice will begin.  Whether or not the talented former high school quarterback plays this year will depend on how quickly he can adjust to the wide receiver position.
