Chung Updates Visit Plans

Kyle Chung has compiled an impressive list of scholarship offers.  Arkansas, Arkansas State, Clemson, Connecticut, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Maryland, Rutgers, Temple, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest are among those that have offered the Ponte Vedra (FL) rising senior, who plans to spend next month visiting a large portion of these schools.

“Last week, I visited Temple while I was in Philly (visiting his father, who works for the Philadephia Eagles),” Chung said when asked for the latest on his recruitment.  “After that, we drove down to Maryland.  I was planning on going to UVa, but I couldn’t make it.  I’m going to Miami on [June 23 for camp].  I think I’m going to try and make it up to Vandy sometime in July.  Once my dad has some free time in July, we’re going to try and go to Georgia, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Clemson and Arkansas.  And maybe Wake Forest later.”

Georgia, Miami, and Vanderbilt have not yet offered, but the 6’4″, 260-pound tight end/offensive lineman is hoping to earn an offer at Miami’s camp this Saturday.  He tells TSL he believes the Hurricanes are “on the verge” of extending a scholarship.

Are there any clear favorites prior to the upcoming round of visits?
