With spring practice behind us, a long offseason is staring us right in the face. A close examination of the Tech roster shows that the Hokies have a complete team of scholarship players heading into the 2012 season.
Sometimes it’s tough to manage scholarships to get your team as close to the 85 man limit as possible. The Tech staff has done an outstanding job this year. Note that the information in this article might not be 100% accurate. For example, last spring (2011) we heard from a source that Brian Laiti was not on scholarship. We don’t know if that’s true, and if it is, we don’t know whether or not he’s been placed back on scholarship. Also, we are operating under the assumption that Drew Harris will qualify, which is still up in the air.
