Gil St. Bernard’s (Gladstone, N.J.) junior point guard Jaren Sina has offers from Alabama, Cincinnati, Miami, Northwestern, Rutgers, Seton Hall, St. John’s, Virginia, and, most recently, Memphis.  Virginia Tech has entered the picture as well, but as of now no offer not has been extended.

“Virginia Tech came in later this high school season, but I hope to get down to Virginia Tech soon…maybe in the spring,” Sina said.

The 6’2″, 180-pound prospect adds:  “I’m looking at Virginia Tech.  I’m pretty interested.”

Sina, who originally committed to Alabama before de-committing last summer, says he is “pretty open” right now in the recruiting process.  He’ll head to Northwestern for an unofficial visit this weekend, and he says he “definitely” plans on visiting Virginia Tech.  Trips to Michigan and/or Butler are possibilities as well.
