Dan River (Ringgold, VA) High School linebacker Trey Edmunds chose the Hokies in an early afternoon press conference. The 6-2, 200-pound Edmunds picked the Hokies over UNC, Maryland and Virginia.
Edmunds is a three-star player and is ranked the #13 player in the state in TechSideline.com’s early-summer preseason rankings. His commitment gives the Hokies 24 verbals in the 2012 recruiting class.
