Eagles Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA) head coach Jonathan Gess will be in Blacksburg for Virginia Tech’s July 9 camp, and he is bringing with him rising junior tailback Keyante Green and rising junior lineman Isaac Rochelle. Virginia Tech has offered both players, two of the top 2013 class recruits in the state of Georgia.

“Virginia Tech is in the top three or four for both of them,” Gess said, referring to Green and Rochelle.

“When I talk with Keyante, I think it’s fairly clear his top three are Georgia, Tennessee, and Virginia Tech. With Isaac, his top three probably are Clemson, Virginia Tech, and Alabama. He really likes Alabama. They treated him very well when he went there.”

Rochelle currently has a slight edge over Green in terms of scholarship offers, boasting 14 or 15 offers to Green’s 12 or 13. It’s clear, though, that both are big-time players in the eyes of major college coaches.
