Saturday’s big Coastal Division showdown between Miami and Virginia Tech has
been picked up by ESPN, and will be televised at 3:30pm. The networks have
exercised their six-day option for the Virginia-Virginia Tech game on November
27. Time and television coverage for that game will be announced after this
weekend’s games.

Virginia Tech is 8-2 overall, and 6-0 in the ACC. With one more win they will
clinch the Coastal Division championship and a berth in the ACC Championship
Game. With two wins, they will become the first ACC team to go undefeated in
conference play since the league expanded to 12 teams.

Hosley Honored

Virginia Tech sophomore cornerback Jayron Hosley has been named ACC Defensive
Back of the Week for his performance against North Carolina. He had two critical
interceptions in Tech’s 26-10 win in Chapel Hill.

Hosley is now leading the country in interceptions per game, and tied for the
national lead in total interceptions. He was also ACC Defensive Back of the Week
earlier in the year for his three interceptions against NC State.
