Nike held a press conference this morning in New York to unveil the 2010 Nike
Pro Combat uniforms, and the latest worst-kept secret in Virginia Tech football
was revealed: the Hokies will sport all-black uniforms Monday night when they
kick off at FedExField against the Boise State Broncos.

Ten schools will wear this year’s edition of the Nike Pro Combat uniforms
throughout the season, including Virginia Tech’s opening-weekend opponent, Boise
State. BSU’s uniforms are less of a departure from the norm than Virginia Tech’s
and can
be seen here. The most striking feature of BSU’s uniform is the wraparound
bronco logo on the helmet.
