Minnetonka (MN) defensive back James Farrow has taken visits to two of his four favorite schools. He’ll visit the other two – one of which is Virginia Tech – over the course of the next several days. The 6-0, 175-pound rising senior discusses his plans and where he stands in the decision-making process in this latest update.

“Wednesday morning, I’m going on an unofficial visit to West Virginia,” Farrow said. “I’m going to watch practice, take a campus tour and meet the coaches face to face. I want to get a feel for the coaches and I want them to get a feel for me. I’m going to drive to Blacksburg on Wednesday night. Thursday morning, I’m going to meet with the Virginia Tech coaches and do the same thing I’m going to do at West Virginia.”

On these visits, Farrow said, “The biggest thing is just to get a feel for each place. After each visit, I think I’ll have a gut feeling for if the school could be the place for me. I’m looking forward to checking things out.”

Farrow, who is being recruited to play cornerback by the Hokies, looks forward to seeing a Virginia Tech practice.
