In March, Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA) cornerback Demetrious Nicholson named a top four of Louisville, North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. A day after visiting Virginia Tech for its Spring Game, the 5-9, 165-pound junior revealed that two schools are out and two new schools are now in.

Nicholson has taken trips to North Carolina (twice) and Virginia this year, so this was his first opportunity to see Virginia Tech. He wanted to learn where he stood on Tech’s board in the 2011 class and he got the answer he was looking for.

“I learned that they like me a lot,” Nicholson said. “I feel like I’m one of their top priorities. Coach Foster was telling me that I’m a top priority. He kept telling me that. They said I was an impact player on their board and they’ve moved back up into my top four.”
