6-0, 230-pound linebacker prospect Caleb Taylor maintains four scholarship offers – Louisville, Maryland, UVa and West Virginia – prior to the start of the Evaluation period. The Phoebus (Hampton, VA) standout junior will have an opportunity to show what he can do on the camp circuit this spring and summer, when he attends Nike Camps at Penn State and Virginia Tech and summer camps at Virginia Tech and possibly UNC.

Connecticut, Duke and Michigan are also showing interest in the 2008 all-state performer, who missed most of the 2009 season due to a torn ACL. Taylor has been cleared medically and is anxious to show that he is back to form.

“I’m excited about it,” Taylor said the upcoming camp circuit. “I’m going to do drills and more one-on-ones. I’m ready for it.”

Visit-wise, Taylor stopped by UVa last week for its Spring Football Festival.
