Fuller Gets Good News, Eyes Visit

Kyle Fuller ‘s recruiting card

Senior standout Kyle Fuller missed Mount St. Joseph’s (Baltimore, MD) final seven games of the 2009 season, only able to watch from the sideline as his team finished with a 2-8 record. The 6-0, 165-pound Virginia Tech cornerback recruit received some good news yesterday, though, learning that he will be able to play in the Crab Bowl on December 19th.

“I got the okay from the doctor. I’m pretty excited to be able to play,” said Fuller, who continues to recover from the torn finger ligament that prematurely ended his senior season. He is expected to play cornerback in the Maryland high school all-star game. “I know there will be a lot of good players there.”

Fuller’s injury required surgery, which went well. He has since been rehabilitating the injury and continues to work to get back to 100 percent.
