Cannon School (Concord, N.C.) star guard/forward Jarell Eddie enjoyed a packed itinerary on the official visit he made to Virginia Tech last weekend. The 6-7, 210-pound senior did everything from touring the new basketball practice facility to attending Virginia Tech’s home football win over Marshall to having dinner at head coach Seth Greenberg’s house. Overall, the Virginia Tech commitment seemed to have enjoyed the experience quite a bit.

“It was real fun,” Eddie said. “I had a really good host in J.T. Thompson. I got up there, watched a workout and hung out with the players. I met the Athletic Director. We sat down and talked with him. He’s a good guy. Hanging out with the players and the coaching staff was cool and fun. I feel like they are guys I will get along with perfectly.”

Eddie praised the brand new practice facility, enjoying one part in particular.
