H.D. Woodson (Washington, D.C.) quarterback Ricardo Young , a top quarterback target of Virginia Tech’s, was in Blacksburg yesterday for the Spring Game. The 6-1, 170-pound junior wanted to see several things, specifically Virginia Tech’s offense, its quarterbacks and receivers. What was his opinion of Tech’s offense following the experience?

“It looked good,” Young said. “I know I could fit into it. It is my type of offense.”

Virginia Tech’s quarterback depth chart continues to be a positive as well as far as Tech’s standing with the H.D. Woodson product is concerned.

“I know they only have one backup,” Young said. “I think I could just jump in there and help out.”
