Eight practices are in the books, and seven remain, including the spring
game. Less than two weeks of spring practice are left, and we are starting to
get an idea of how certain position battles are going to shake out. This week’s
spring practice report covers every position on the team. With one full
scrimmage and the spring game remaining, the depth chart is still subject to
change.

Virginia Tech’s offense has been playing well this spring. That all starts
with the offensive line and the quarterback. Tyrod Taylor has improved, he’s
gained confidence in his receivers, and the line is doing a good job with their
blocking. The improvements were obvious in last Friday’s scrimmage.
