David Wilson

George Washington (Danville, VA) product David Wilson may have earned MVP honors in the Hawaii/Polynesia-Mainland Bowl last Friday night, but he was not totally happy with his performance. The 5-11, 190-pound running back scored two touchdowns – one rushing and one receiving – in leading the Mainland team to a 22-8 decision over the Hawaii home team.

“Personally, I don’t think I did that well,” said Wilson, who finished the game with 13 carries for 47 yards and three receptions for 50 yards. “I did pretty good, but they were mainly passing the ball all game. If I could’ve run more and gotten into a groove, it probably would’ve been a different story.”
