Granby (Norfolk, VA) senior linebacker Telvion Clark will suit up for the Virginia Tech Hokies next season, and last weekend he enjoyed a taste of what’s to come. The 6-1, 208-pound prospect’s visit for the Virginia game was his first ever experience at a Virginia Tech regular season game.

“The team is very, very intense before and after the game,” said Clark, who plans to return to Blacksburg next weekend for an official visit. “We all went to the back room after the game was over. Coach Beamer did his victory dance he does after the game. That got everybody real excited. Then he introduced the new recruits to the team.”

Clark took more of an analysis oriented approach to watching the game, but he still couldn’t help but notice the outstanding game atmosphere in Blacksburg.

“I liked the excitement level. The stadium was very loud and competitive,” noted Clark, who attended Tech’s Spring Game earlier this year. “When I watched the game, I watched every position. I watched the outside linebacker and the inside linebacker. I envisioned myself being there.”
