Granby (Norfolk, VA) did not make the playoffs, so the high school football career of Telvion Clark is finished. The 6-1, 208-pound linebacker has not wasted any time in preparing for his future at Virginia Tech, though, working out and getting ready for indoor track season. Clark may do one more thing as well in hopes that it would help him on the next level.

Besides working out and running track, Clark may wrestle for Granby. He has experience as a wrestler, claiming to have captured state championships in his middle school days.

“I called Coach Newsome and talked to him about it,” Clark said. “He said it would be good for my balance and awareness. I’ve heard that it is proven that wrestling will make you a better tackler, too.”
