Brookville (Lynchburg, VA) senior offensive lineman Devin Bolling will now focus solely on helping his team capture a state championship, but there has been some activity on the recruiting front. The 6-5, 270-pound prospect made an official visit to Boston College last weekend. He discusses that experience and the possibility of an offer from Virginia Tech.

Last Thursday, Bolling joined teammates Logan Thomas and Zack McCray in Blacksburg for Virginia Tech’s home football game against Maryland. As a result of conversations he had with some Tech coaches that night, he feels a scholarship offer could be on the way.

“I came down on Thursday with Logan,” Bolling said. “Coach Newsome told me he loves my feet. He said I have real quick feet. I gave Coach Stinespring the tape he and Coach Newsome requested and I’m waiting to hear back from them. I feel it. I believe they will offer me pretty soon.”

Bolling would be excited to see Virginia Tech come through with an offer, but he also said he would not immediately jump at the opportunity.
