One of Virginia Tech’s top 2008 signees hopes to enroll at Tech in January of 2009. Enrolling in just a few months remains a possibility for 6-4, 208-pound wide receiver D.J. Coles , who is attending Fork Union Military Academy after starring at Goochland High School.

“Right now I’m aiming for January. That’s what I’m trying to get to,” Coles said. “It is still a little early to tell where I stand right now. I haven’t gotten any of my test scores back and they will determine if I can come in January. If not, I guess it’ll have to be next fall.”

An athletic and speedy prospect with excellent size, Coles, rated a 4-star prospect coming out of Goochland, has tremendous motivation to get to Tech as soon as possible.
