Taylor and Glennon Questionable for Maryland

Quarterbacks Tyrod Taylor and Sean Glennon were X-rayed in Blacksburg on Sunday morning, and the X-rays came out negative. Taylor injured his ankle on the first play of the game, while Glennon hurt his lower leg in the third quarter.

Taylor didn’t get much of a chance to do anything in the game against FSU. He was knocked out on Tech’s first play from scrimmage. Sean Glennon came in and played well, going 9-of-16 for 133 yards. He also had a rushing touchdown on a quarterback sneak.

Both players will wear protective boots in the upcoming days, and both are listed as questionable for the Maryland game.

Cory Holt, who had been working full-time at wide receiver heading into the game, played quarterback after Glennon went down. He was 3-of-6 for 28 yards and a touchdown. If neither Taylor or Glennon are available for Maryland, Holt will be the starting quarterback.
