Brookville OL Adds Offer, Looking for More

Senior offensive lineman Devin Bolling is looking forward to Friday night, when Virginia Tech is expected to be represented at Brookville’s (Lynchburg, VA) home football game against Liberty (Bedford). This will be an opportunity for the 6-5, 270-pound prospect to impress the Tech coaches and perhaps help earn a scholarship offer.

“Virginia Tech will be down here on Friday,” Bolling said. “We’ll see how that goes. I think Coach Stinespring and Coach Beamer will be here. Basically, I’ll have to play my ‘A’ game. I’ll have to knock heads out there.”

Bolling, Brookville’s starting left tackle, has turned in a very good senior season thus far, helping the Bees to a 7-0 record. His play has impressed college coaches as well, with Boston College coming through with an official offer and Virginia Tech increasing its interest. The athletic lineman now boasts official offers from Army, Boston College, Connecticut, East Carolina, Marshall, Ohio and Richmond, among others.

North Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest are among the programs showing heavy interest in Bolling, who believed several weeks ago that UVa may be close to offering…has anything changed?
