Army AA Thomas in No Rush to Decide

Brookville’s (Lynchburg, VA) Logan Thomas , referring to the temptation of making a verbal commitment sooner rather than later, admits that “there is kind of a sense of urgency sometimes, but then again there isn’t.” The 6-6, 225-pound tight end/wide receiver recruit, one of the most coveted prospects out of the state of Virginia’s 2009 class, does not appear close to making a decision and currently lists nine schools still under consideration.

“There is nothing new at all with me,” Thomas said. “I’m just letting everything play out right now.”

Not all is the same for the big-time senior. Thomas was recently selected to play in the 2009 U.S. Army All-American Bowl, which takes place on January 3rd in San Antonio.

Recruiting-wise, Clemson, Florida State, North Carolina, Penn State, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and West Virginia are the finalists for Thomas, who has been officially offered by each of those programs. He has taken recent unofficial visits to North Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest and he enjoyed all of those experiences.
