Reportedly, Virginia Tech has added another verbal commitment in the 2009 football recruiting class. According to the Roanoke Times, Hampton star Tyrel Wilson, a 6-3, 215-pound recruit, has pledged to the Hokies over Tennessee and UVa, among others.
A VHSCA first-team all-state selection at defensive end last season as a junior, Wilson has played linebacker for the Crabbers this season and likely will end up at linebacker at Virginia Tech as well.
