The
television networks have exercised their six-day option for Virginia Tech’s
football game against North Carolina on September 20. The Hokies and Tar Heels
will kickoff at either noon or 3:30pm, but much will depend on the results of
this weekend’s games.
The networks also used their six-day option on the Mississippi State-Georgia
Tech game, as well as Miami-Texas A&M. The Mississippi State-Georgia Tech
game will either be at noon on Raycom, or 3:30pm on ABC. The Miami-Texas A&M
game will be on ABC at either 3:30pm or 8pm.
With the Virginia Tech-UNC game in Chapel Hill kicking off at either noon
(Raycom) or 3:30 (ABC), it seems that if the Hokies and Tar Heels win this
weekend, they’ll be slotted for that 3:30 pm spot. Virginia Tech hosts Georgia
Tech on Saturday, while UNC travels to Rutgers on Thursday night.
Here is how the ACC TV schedule looks for Saturday, September 20.
