Victory Christian (Charlotte, N.C.) defensive end Justin Foxx came away from Virginia Tech’s second summer camp with a big smile on his face. The 6-4, 220-pound prospect had already been offered prior to the camp, but he was very pleased with his camp performance and excited about the time he had on Saturday.

Foxx posted a 40 time of 4.69 seconds earlier in the day, but he was most enthusiastic about his performance in the one-on-one drills.

“I did great,” Foxx said, assessing his camp performance. “I think I had a great showing. I think I did well in drills and I think I excelled in one-on-ones. I think I showed my speed, but a lot of people underestimate my strength. I think I’m pretty strong even though I don’t look it.”

Virginia Tech seems to have really helped itself with Foxx, who spent quite a bit of time talking with the coaches after the camp.
