Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA) forward Josh Hairston , one of the top 2010 class prospects in the country, is putting his versatile game on display at this week’s NBPA Top 100 Camp. The 6-8, 215-pound rising junior has the ability to play from the perimeter or to play in the post, although he does have a slight preference.
“I like taking advantage of teams down low, because with me playing the three or the four it is a mismatch problem,” Hairston said. “If I see I have somebody smaller covering me, I’ll take them down to the block. If I have somebody bigger than me, I’ll take them out on the wing.
“I can go inside and out, but the team I’m on [at the NBPA Camp] prefers to have me inside. If my coach needs me to step out and take somebody off the dribble, I can do that. If they need me to post up, I can do that too.”
