A fantastic camp performance resulted in Pulaski (Dublin, VA) standout Nubian Peak receiving a tremendous opportunity, and he is taking advantage. Peak, a 5-11, 190-pound rising senior, displayed tremendous speed and athleticism at Virginia Tech’s camp on Saturday. Tech head coach Frank Beamer offered a full scholarship yesterday and Peak has since given his pledge to the Hokies.

“He has verbally committed to Virginia Tech,” Pulaski head coach Jack Turner confirmed this morning.

Peak is being recruited by Virginia Tech as an athlete. Pulaski’s starting running back, he had 158 carries for 1,349 yards last season as a junior. Additionally, he hauled in 11 receptions for 296 yards and scored 16 offensive touchdowns in total.

Highlighted by the offer from Tech, the off-season has indeed been a great one.
