6-3, 185-pound Theron Norman , a smooth, athletic safety/wide receiver prospect out of Hermitage High School in Richmond, Virginia, sits at four official Division 1A scholarship offers at this point in his recruiting process. Intent on building upon last year’s success both individually and team-wise, Norman is focused on preparing for his senior season but he has also made some college visits to explore potential suitors.

“As far as anything else goes, I’m really just trying to get ready for my team,” said Norman, who boasts official offers from Maryland, Syracuse, Virginia and Virginia Tech. Duke and Tennessee are among the other programs expressing serious interest. “I’m going to be the quarterback this year. I’m the leader. I need to focus on getting myself and my teammates ready for the season.”

The recruiting process “is going good,” Norman says. “It is getting kind of hectic. I’m just trying to keep my options open right now and focus on my schoolwork. I want to keep working hard. As far as my decision goes, I’m not sure about it right now and I doubt I’ll decide before the season.”
