After making an official visit to Virginia Tech this past weekend, Beaufort (S.C.) star defensive end Devin Taylor has now taken all five allotted official visits. The next step for the 6-6, 220-pound prospect is to make a decision, and one could come by the end of this week. The finalists include Duke, N.C. State, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

“He really hadn’t said a whole lot about his schools,” Beaufort head coach Mark Clifford said. “That is Devin. He has just been taking it all in and analyzing it all. Now, he’ll just go though the positives and negatives of each school. Hopefully, he’ll have something by this weekend.”

A quiet personality, Taylor even has his coach guessing in terms of which schools are the favorites.

“Really, I haven’t got a clue,” replied Clifford when asked if a school or schools had the edge. “Every school is a good program. Every school has pluses. Devin would be a heck of a poker player. He is holding it all in. It is really hard to say where he might go.”
