6-7, 325-pound offensive lineman/defensive tackle Bobby Massie , one of Virginia Tech’s top commitments in the 2008 recruiting class, has decided not to make official visits to other schools. The Liberty Christian Academy (Lynchburg, VA) star will stand by his original decision to attend Virginia Tech, and he is excited about it.

“I ended it all. I’m staying with Tech,” said Massie, who canceled a previously scheduled official visit to Georgia set for earlier this month.

“I just decided not to make any more visits. Me and my coach sat down and talked and we sat down with Coach Stinespring. I decided to stay with Tech. They were really the only school that has been with me throughout. They have been to my school more than any other and they call me more than any other. The school has everything that I like.”

Massie and Maury offensive tackle Vinston Painter have become friends in this recruiting process. The two visited Tech together on the weekend of September 29th and are excited about become future teammates.
