Taylor Reflects on Senior Season, Prepares for VT

Though his senior season is over, Myrtle Beach (S.C.) senior linebacker and Virginia Tech commit Bruce Taylor still has much to look forward to on the gridiron. The 6-3, 230-pound prospect, a 4-star recruit, has been selected to play in the North Carolina/South Carolina Shrine Bowl next month and also will play in the ESPN All-American Game on January 4th.

Taylor is coming off of a terrific senior season, one in which his team fulfilled several goals.

“It was the most fun season I’ve had,” Taylor said. “We got a lot of things accomplished. We beat Conway. We went undefeated in the regular season. We won our region.”

Taylor, who saw time at inside linebacker, outside linebacker, and defensive end, racked up 188 tackles in total this year. More importantly, he stayed healthy following an injury-plagued junior campaign.
