Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA) wide receiver recruit Randall Dunn made his first ever visit to Virginia Tech on Saturday to see the win over Miami. Following Saturday’s experience, the 6-3, 212-pound prospect was able to name a favorite in the race for his signature.

“Tech is definitely my number one, but I’m still leaving the door open if another school wants to come in,” said Dunn, who boasts official offers from Virginia Tech, Virginia, Connecticut and Northern Illinois. “I do really like Tech.”

Dunn, who made the trip with his cousin (Maury OL/DL Vinston Painter), greatly enjoyed two things in particular – the fans and spending time with the Virginia Tech players.

“The people there love football,” Dunn said. “Anything that has to do with Virginia Tech, they love it. I’ve never seen that many people get that loud before. It felt like a really big family. I felt like everybody knew everybody. The players are real cool. I met a couple of them. They treated me like family even though I’m not on the team.”
