Gulliver Prep (Miami, FL) senior center Gene Swindle will be in Blacksburg this weekend, making an official visit to Virginia Tech. The 6-11, 260-pound Swindle, a prospect that has seriously come onto the Virginia Tech recruiting radar within the past month, is hoping to leave town with an offer.

At this point, head coach Seth Greenberg is certainly interested but has yet to extend an official scholarship offer.

“I don’t think they’ve offered,” Gulliver Prep head coach Harry Gordon said. “They are going to let him have his visit and then take another look. Next week, I think we’ll see what is going on.”
