September has been a busy month for 6-7, 330-pound senior Bobby Massie . Liberty Christian Academy’s (Lynchburg, VA) talented right tackle/nose guard has spoken with a handful of college coaches and has been able to set two official visits. He also has helped his team to a 2-0 start to the 2007 season.

“I have talked to coaches from Georgia, Clemson, Virginia Tech, UNC, Maryland, U-Conn and Tennessee,” Massie said. “That is really it. My coach has been telling me that other schools are interested, too. Notre Dame was at my game last week, but I’m not sure what is going on with them.”

Massie has scholarship offers from all of the schools that have been in phone contact except for Notre Dame. Two of those programs – Clemson and Georgia – have scheduled official visits with the talented big man. He will head to Clemson on the weekend of December 1st and Georgia the following weekend.

Massie, who will take each his official visits after his senior season is over, plans to take all five allotted trips.
