Smithfield’s ATH Dyrell Roberts will announce his college decision at 1:00 tomorrow afternoon. The state of Virginia star, rated the #8 prospect in the state in TSL’s Pre-Summer Top 30, will make the announcement at his high school and will choose from Penn State, Virginia Tech and Virginia.

Virginia is hoping to land its first rising senior prospect from the Commonwealth, but right now it appears Penn State and Virginia Tech have the edge.

“Penn State and Virginia Tech are my top two. UVa is still in the mix,” said Roberts, who is being recruited as a wide receiver by Virginia and Virginia Tech. “I need to clear my mind and go ahead and make this decision. I need to get the jitters out. Tonight, I’m going to turn off my cell phone and turn off the home phone and make the decision. I’m ready to get it over with.”
