Virginia Tech has secured another in-state recruit as Isaiah Hamlette , a 6-3, 250-pound defensive end recruit out of Brooke Point High School (Stafford, VA), has pledged to Virginia Tech. Hamlette told the Virginia Tech coaches of his decision this morning, committing to Tech over offers from Virginia and Wake Forest.

It was a tough decision for Hamlette, who visited all three of his favorites last month.

“I decided to go to Virginia Tech,” Hamlette said. “It’s a big relief. Now, I can just concentrate on school and football.”

Hamlette’s decision ultimately came down to Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.
