Time and TV Set for East Carolina Game

Virginia Tech’s season opening football game against East Carolina will be televised by ESPN2 and will kick off at noon on Saturday, September 1. The ACC also announced kickoff time and TV coverage for one other Tech game on Monday morning, and confirmed the 7:30 start for the Hokies’ two Thursday night games.

With the East Carolina game being televised by ESPN2, Virginia Tech now has four confirmed games that will be televised by one of the ESPN networks. The Hokies will also face LSU, Boston College and Georgia Tech on ESPN.

The ACC also announced that Virginia Tech’s September 15 game against Ohio will be broadcast on ESPN360 and will kickoff at 1:30pm. ESPN360 is an internet-only broadcast. Tech’s Thursday night games against Boston College and Georgia Tech will start at 7:30.

Five of Virginia Tech’s 12 games have now been picked up, all by one of the ESPN networks.
