6-6, 315-pound Vinston Painter tripped to Virginia Tech on Friday, April 13th, for a spring practice. TechSideline.com was able to catch up with the talented junior to discuss the experience, which went well.

“I went up there and had a chance to catch a practice,” Painter recalled of his visit. “I spent some time with Kam [Chancellor] and Prince [Parker] and they showed me around campus. I just got to spend some time with the players. That was cool.”

Painter had already visited Virginia Tech before, so he was not surprised with anything on his experience. Overall, though, he enjoyed himself.

“It was cool,” Painter said. “It was kind of what I expected. It was cool.”
