Mosley Set for First Official Visit

5-9, 190-pound Henrico (Richmond, VA) defensive back/athlete Corey Mosley will head to Charlottesville today for an official visit. The visit to the University of Virginia will be his first official visit of his recruiting process. Mosley talks about the upcoming experience as well as his future plans in his decision making process.

“I’m just anxious to talk about what they want out of me as a player,” Mosley answered when asked what he is looking forward to finding out this weekend. He will be hosted by UVa red-shirt freshman defensive end Jeffrey Fitzgerald. “I’m looking forward to finding out what position they want me for. I also get the chance to walk around and experience the environment first hand. I think this visit will be a deciding factor for me.”

On Wednesday of this week, Mosley sat down with UVa recruiting coach Mike Groh and his guidance counselor to talk academics and finalize this weekend’s visit. Mosley has also met with Virginia Tech primary recruiter Jim Cavanaugh, who set up an official visit with the central Virginia standout.

“Coach Cav just told me they are still interested and we made plans for a visit there,” Mosley said. “I’m going to Virginia Tech on January 19th.”
