4-Star DE to Visit VT

6-2, 225-pound defensive end/linebacker recruit Tony Tucker has been contemplating official visit destinations in recent weeks. The St. John’s (Washington, D.C.) standout wants to make at least one official visit during his senior season, with the remaining four – assuming he makes all five allotted official visits – coming after his senior season.

“I think I’m going to take one on October 7th, but I haven’t talked about it as much,” Tucker said, referring to his official visits. “I was going to take one to Georgia Tech on that weekend, but they said that wouldn’t be a good day. I’ll probably go there after the season. Boston College is talking to me about taking one on that date, but I have to keep talking to them about that. Most likely, it will be Boston College that I visit during the season. After my season I’ll take the rest of my four.”

The only official visit that seems set right now is the one to Virginia Tech. The trip would be Tucker’s first-ever experience in Blacksburg.

“I’m going to Virginia Tech on the weekend of the 25th for the Virginia game,” Tucker said. “I’m talking to Pittsburgh on December 3rd. As for the other two visits, I have to think about where I’m going to go. I know I want to go to Georgia Tech for an official visit, so that’ll probably happen after the season as well.”
