6-4, 230-pound Varina (VA) star Jamar Jackson made his first official visit this past weekend, when he visited Boston College. The defensive end/outside linebacker standout came away very impressed, but remains intent on making all five official visits before he makes a commitment anywhere. Jackson’s schedule is filled up over the next three weekends, so, by the end of it, he should be a lot closer to a decision.
“It was great,” Jackson said of the official visit to BC. His host was junior linebacker Jolonn Dunbar. “I had a great time. The highlight of course was the game. It was real nice. Boston College didn’t quit. They had a lot of things go wrong, but they didn’t quit. That was one thing I liked.”
Asked whether or not he felt he fit in with the Boston College program, Jackson answered “I fit in well. I could see myself there, but I still want to take the other visits. It was great being at BC, but I still want to take the other visits and compare those.”
Boston College has been reported as the favorite following the experience. Is this true?
